McGill Physics Makerspace and 3D Print Lab

As a part of the PHYS 258 (Experimental Methods 2) class, students are required to design and conduct their own experiment at the end of the term. This final project may investigate day-to-day life questions or tackle problems in modern physics. In many cases, students will need to design their own measurement setup, and Makerspace is a great place to facilitate that with its 3D printing or soldering capabilities.

We encourage all students, who used Makerspace 3D printers, to reach out to us and showcase their science projects.

Below are some examples of research projects PHYS 258 students have worked on!
